KARL NIEDING
Karl's Recollections.
DOB 23rd February 1918
Commenced in 1956 as a painter.
To Wine Sales to replace Tom Kennedy who reached retirement age.
Then to roadside sales in 1964 and retired in either 1975-1976 due a heart attack.
Bill Wilden had a story to tell about Karl Nieding's time. The boys in the cellar would remove timber ply panels at the rear and take a flagon or two. From memory you could stack 4 or 5 flagons deep. It was a virtual treasure trove!!!
My thoughts are that Karl was still painting on my return from Loxton.
